I have a 312 I am trying to remove the crankshaft. The retainer bolts are recessed with a 12-point bolt. Does any know what size the head of the bolt is? I have some 12-point socket. That either the wrong size or to large to fit any one had this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Larry

A 3/8 twelve point is the size.  I have also used a 11mm twelve point socket.
