The TBirds (55-57) had a double action w/o the bowl. The filter was separate.

Does anyone know whether the "fuel and vacuum double-action pump" that Mac's sells without the "fuel settlement bowl" for Y-blocks would be a reliable replacement for the original that had the bowl? (1955 Ford 272)
