I was out in El Cajon a couple of weeks back. John has a casting, however there's some issues with dimensions and water jacket problems that must be solved. He won't release them until they're right. Many of the features on the original tooling were positioned incorrectly, or not thought out. Wouldn't have worked. He has almost completed the water jacket which is a HUGE step forward. You cannot imagine the hours involved.

The talk is for heads being ready maybe by end of the year but don’t know if that is for pairs for testing purposes or sets ready for sale.  Bob Martin will be adding to the Columbus Y Shootout article in the next issue of Y-Block Magazine a small writeup regarding some of the features for these heads.
