Hey Al;;  Thanks for the encouragement!!!   Had cable housing too long-- shortened an inch-- also went to Harley Store and got some cable lube.  Works very smooth with good kickdown operation.. Many thanks    God Bless   Eddie

Eddie, I have the same setup on mine, hooked to an AOD tranny. I would try disconnecting the trans kickdown and make sure the throttle and carb function smoothly and properly first-independent of the kickdown, Then attach the kickdown. My throttle assembly attached to the eldebrock works smooth as silk. I did fab up my own manifold bracket because I felt the LOKAR bracket on the side of the carb was at too much of an angle + it looked kinda cheap, but I don't know if it works any better because of it. Also you have two points of attachment you might try at the firewall bellcrank that might make a difference and possibly reform the cable bracket to change the angle at which the cable more accurately meets the bellcrank arm. don't know if this is any help?

Hey guys;  Was having some throttle sticking on the t-bird, think the bar at the rear on the firewall.  Decided to put the throttle pedal assembly and their throttle bracket setup alone with lokar cables, both throttle and trans kickdown. Have been using the same kickdown for 2couple years. Ever since I put in the C/4.  Has anyone used this setup??  Can't seem the get the balance right, feels like throttle wants to stick , have the double spring return.  maybe I'm beeing too picky, but seems like I'm over centering somewhere.  Jeezes don't know if I am saying this right, just not as smooth as I throught it would be.  Sorry for the mumble-bumble.  Any suggestion or advice will be greatly apprciated!!   God Bless    Eddie
