Earl:

Unfortunately, the Bird has an outlet all its own.  The hose diameter is larger, and the Bird housing hose connection points straight forward.  The passenger car ones point upward and to the right about 45 degrees, the truck units point straight up and slightly forward.  In addition, the '54 bypass hose is 1/2", all the others are 5/8".
