I was looking at the photos of your turbo truck - the right stuff, I'd say.

This diagram shows the donor parts you want from the late seventies distributor. The armature is also called a "reluctor" in other literature. It can be pried off the top of the upper rotor shaft with a pair of large screwdrivers. Usually all rusty on the older donors - a new one is $5 at NAPA.

The later vacuum can (with a dogleg operator arm) has to be used - it will also have an adjustment screw to turn the vacuum advance up and down - I don't know how you can use it with boost - but it will stabilize the advance plate.

You might want to build a replacement for it - that simply holds everything still so you only run on mechanical advance.

This ought to get you started -ask some good questions and we'll figure it out.

Y-Guys      I've read a lot of posts on converting to dura-spark  parts

in the dist. I'm not sure I can do this and do it right.....so

would someone recomend someone I can send it to, or offer

other suggestions.I can "chase" the parts if need be. I have a couple

         of good "cores" I think.

                                             Thx Bill
