Not trying to be a smartass, but it depends on a lot of factors, is it really a car that you want and how far do you want to take the restroration. Old cars ain't cheap and keeping them road worthy requires a lot of work and money, but so does golfing or fishing or hunting or drinking or chasing women. My advice is look the car over from top to bottom and make a list of everything that you see wrong with it. If you are not a mechanic or have knowledge of old cars get a friend who does to go with you. Take your list and work up a cost of all the repairs ( go high on the estimate), then if you still want the car add the repair total to what you think its worth and make your offer. I promise that you will have alot more money in it than you though.

Itman: Further to what Glen said, if sitting for years in the garage, figure that many of the seals in the car are now hard & will likely start leaking as soon as you drive it. Allow something for this likelihood..

That Ebay price should give you a clue. If it's in worse shape than that one it's worth less. If it's in better shape it's worth more. Use that for a guide. All things on Ebay don't bring the same price all of the time. I've seen big carb intakes go for a hundred bucks and I got mine in pristine condition for thirty. Ya just can't tell but at least it's a start.
