This is a great website- I thank you for making it available. At this time, due to circumstances ( and a member or 2) that I have no control over, I hereby resign my membership.... Regards /Duck

Duck,

I do not want to see 500 views on your post and not get a single response, I am sure you deserve more.  I do not know you nor have I been a member long enough to have witnessed any "circumstances" coming from this site.  If the circumstances are not from this site and beyond anyone's control, then you have no choice.

What would be great might be to leave some constructive criticism for the rest of us to chew on and perhaps we can make it better place.  There may be others sharing your concerns and if we all chime in, the site will continue to grow and not loose another member like you.

P.S.  consider keeping an open mind and if enough responses help ease the pain of the circumstances (if indeed they are from this site), you might want to make a comeback like ( well, now I am lost for words.  I was trying to think of someone that would tie T-Birds and other late 50's Fords together with a great comeback.  Perhaps someone else can help me)

Sincerely,

Charlie Burns Laton, Ca (South of Fresno)

Hi Duck,

I also want to second Charlie's thoughts. I am not aware of any "flame wars" going on here. Shoot me an e-mail and let me know what the problem is please. As the owner of the site, I want this to be the best place possible.

Daniel, I think you might have it. Seems familiar. I pm'd The Duck Guy today and expressed my concern. I'd like to see him come back as I always welcome tbirders

If I had a complaint about this Website it's the use of the "Classifieds". It's kinda loosey-goosey, that's no one fault, I think we want to believe all people are good first, and not suspect they would gyp anyone. I mean come on some of them can't even think to put where they are from for the sake of shipping.

I hope this works out

I doubt that is the only problem, The Duck Guy is bigger than that... must be something else.

Whatever it is, Duck, I still have your back...

Here is the link to that thread.

Duck.  Not sure what the problem is but do hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction.  Tried to look at the posted link so I could refamiliarize myself with the thread in question but it was unavailable when I tried to bring it up.  Possibly the deleted post?  But the site is always open to you so don’t be a stranger for long.

Ted,

If your referring to the "deleted post" that I deleted this morning, it had nothing to do with Duck.

It was a response to 57fordluvr's question and as he pointed out was "rather harsh" (and I agree it was), so I deleted it.

The thread I believe your looking for is;

CLASSIFIEDS, Wanted ECZ-9425-B (or C) Dated July 25, 2008

http:/www.y-blocksforever.com/forums/Topic14828-7-1.aspx

But like I stated I don't think that is the only reason.

Good Luck to ya Duck

Why would one "resign" a membership? I don't quite know how or why one would do that. If I got PO'd about an issue I just wouldn't come back here, I don't think I'd "resign". I am on a Pontiac forum which I think is totally useless but instead of "resigning" I just don't go there. Guess I don't know about this. I haven't seen any pissin' duels here.
