Anyone live in or near Dearborn, MI.? My daughter is there and has a 2001 Caravan with a broken timing belt. She is looking for a decent, honest, auto repair shop that will do the work. Her first estimate was $800 for a new belt and water pump. Seems very high to me but? Anyway if anyone can help out please EMAIL me at: chuck3eagles@comcast.net Thanks, Chuck in NH

I'm no where near Dearborn, but $800 sounds about right for R&R timing belt in a FWD with a sideways engine, parts and labor? It would be a good Idea to find a shop with a good reputation certainly.
