Ordered a water pump rebuild kit from Mac's only to find that they are discontinued. Anyone know where else I can get one? Thanks-

Slightly off the topic and appologize but how does one get the pump appart to repair it?  Does the impeller pull off the shaft?

we pressed the shaft out of the front of ours, the impellar was broken off already...I tired to order the kit online and recieved an email from them stating it was discontinued?? I know a whole new pump would probably be better and they aren't that expensive, I just want to rebuild one...

I tried to press one appart but the housing shattered! I wanted to disasemble one to powder coating and then put a kit in it. I was able to get the fan collar off but the impeller proved to be the problem end. Any Ideas? Chuck in NH

I have supported the pump housing, impeller facing up, and pressed on the shaft while squeezing the snap ring open (the one at the front of the housing, behind the pulley flange) and it removed the impeller and pressed the bearing out of the housing in one operation.
