You shouldn't have to cut the guides with that amount of lift.  You do subtract lash to figure total valve lift.

okay i cant figure this out. cams appear to be speced at 1.5 rocker arm ratio. to find lift for 1.43 i would take the advertised lift and divide it by 1.5 to get lobe lift. then lobe lift times 1.43 for actual lift. .448/1.5=.299*1.43=.427 then do you need to subtract the lash also? with the 1.54 rockers you would have .460 lift . if you used a cam with .448 advertised lift with 1.43 rockers your good to go? with 1.54 rockers you have to cut the guides down? am i thinking to hard and making this harder than necessary.
