    No sir, in 1955 and 56' all engines are pale yellow.

Hi Mike,



this argument has been going over on the Ford-trucks site for quite some time.

It appears that Yellow WAS the correct color but you'll have to make up your own mind!





Some were red and some were yellow. (BIG truck engines were evidently yellow.)



I am painting mine John Deere yellow! Tongue



Someone over on the FTE site in that thread above, has a picture of the assembly line that shows a whole row of yellow engines. So yellow will certainly NOT be wrong.
