There is some pitting near one of the water passages. I don't have it yet so I can't estimate the depth of the pitting. Assuming that milling can't clean it up, is silicone, or JB weld a viable option?

Charlie, The picture is not real clear, but it looks pretty bad. You will have better luck sealing water than compression of course, but I'd think real hard on weather or not the head is worth it. It's not anything special is it?
