My body trim on my 1955 ford is slightly dented and I would like to know where I can buy some trim. Every body I call want a fortune for it.

Timmy

I've had luck finding some trim on ebay, NOS but!!!!! the trim is not perfect.  There are scratches, tiny rust marks, shelf ware, etc.  The stuff on my car is as good.  A fellow car buff warned me about getting some pieces too shiny and perfect..makes the rest of the car look dull.  For a driver car, I'll live with it.  Last fall I went to a RM auction in Toronto and looked at a very nice but not perfect 58 Fairlane convertible.  The trim was really nice but I asked how much to get that way.  $17000 CDN to polish and de-bump it.  Wow. that's more than I paid for my whole Fairlane.  Yes it costs money....a lot of money.
