I want to do an oil analysis to see how my newly rebuilt 312 is doing.  I recall many years ago a friend of mine did this by just filling up a small vial with some of his crankcase oil and shipping it off somewhere.  It didn't cost much and he got back a wealth of information.  Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that still does this for a reasonable fee?  Thanks, Ron

Go to www.ctci.org, click on Gil's Garage and go to engine section - oil (part 2). I believe there is a name of a lab that does oil analysis work.
