I only got 13 right, but I think that would qualify me as a judge at this event. Unfortunately in every situation there are uninformed people (read stupid) who are in a position for which they are not qualified. I am glad however that you got the money. I like your idea of trying to be a flat head, but you might try entering as an early Pontiac, It seems they probably would not know the difference.

Birdman: Did you say VOTES? Was it a spectator ballot box? Could be lots of idiots voting, and the "judge" may have been a vote counter. Anyway, congratulations for confusing the officials and walking away with the prize. Kinda like mid '50s Nascar.

I made a copy of the check and the trophy along with a copy of the paperwork indicating the votes I got and put it all in a frame with a photo of my engine. I put in on the wall in my garage and everytime I see it I laugh and shake my head. I love idiots. They keep the world turning. Well the weather is pretty nice here today. Think I will crank up the old "390" and go turn some heads.

Not only are the judges a joke... There's an FE guy that's out 100 bucks! Aces Birdman, glad to hear a Y-Block brought home the cash!
