I just spent the day at the racetrack trying to sell crankshafts, intake manifolds, carbs, and Model A wheels. Nobody was buying. I was able to sell an unused Edelbrock 3x2 Chevy small block intake, an Offenhauser 3x2 y-block intake, and a Holley double pumper. $175, $150, and $20.

The swap meet was dominated by old Chevy 350 parts, and nobody was selling anything. I bought 10 Chevy crankshafts for a total of $20 thinking that I couldn't possibly lose out on that deal. It took all day for the guy in the space next to me to sell his Ford FE 390 block bored to 428 bore size. In the end he sold it for $75.

Must be the economy.

I saw one y-block timing cover, but nothing else y-block beside my parts. One Studebaker water pump manifold. Virtually no Cleveland stuff, very little Ford Windsor parts. Maybe the swap meet at the fairgrounds on July 4th and 5th will be better.

I picked up a 351M Duraspark distributor for $20 to convert one of my y-block distributors. Also, picked up some custom wing nut things to use on the valve covers.

Best regards,
