Walking through the autoparts store I noticed the Maguire Ball polishing tool for aluminum wheels.  There was also a similar device called the Bullet.  They were about the same price.  I have always considered Maguire stuff overpriced but the tools would be handy if they worked.  I have always polished and waxed my Torque Thrust II by hand and been pretty satisfied with the results. But it does take a while and they are getting on for 9 years old so they take a bit more effort. So does anybody have any experience with these items?
