Chet Herbert passed away April 23 2009 .Herbert was inducted into the Drag Racers Hall of Fame in 1993 .

Lon, its sad that anyone,s times up on this earth, Chet was a legend and great acheiver and nice guy to boot. When i 1st started going to the States in the 80,s we were able to have parts we preordered shipped to the speedshop for pickup when i arrived, chet was allways there wheeling away quitely. Unfortunatley the greats we have admired for years are entering the stageing lanes  for their final run. Best regards aussiebill.
