That's one problem with this forum. One never knows where people are from unless it's in their signature. We assume they are in the USA and there is and Advance/Autozone/NAPA right around the corner and they may be from somewhere that don't have one ..Oh, I got mine off of Ebay for $44.00 including shipping in pristine condition. Was from a '59 Ford. Installed a Mallory electronic module and Mallory cap & rotor from Summit.

Thanks for your responses.
I will go ahead and bid now.
I have bought before but one thing that needs consideration is the postage to Oz.

Just be careful how much you pay!Autozone has rebuilts for about $50-$60.You would ask for a distributor for a 1964 F100 with 292.You need a cap and rotor for 57-74 Ford V-8.

I am chasing a '57 up distributor and found one on ebay with Part Number COAF-12127-A Y 9JO.
Can anyone advise if this will fit a Y block.
The number seems familiar to one I already have fitted in my car and I can't see the numbers.
It looks like the later model distributor with mechanical advance.
Hope someone can help.
