I'm about to install a new cam&lifter set in my 292 and I am told it has "mushroom"

lifters. Any suggestions or warnings what to do and "not" to do ?  Thanks in advance....

Bill:

Nothing especially unusual except the lifters have to be installed from the bottom before the cam goes in.  If this is done with the engine in the car, a special set of tools is required along with a lot of time.  It's easier, in my opinion, to pull the engine and turn it upside down.
