I was pondering using Herculiner, a roll on bedliner, on my engine bay...Any opinions on this? I'm talking full engine bay...

Other than it being ugly, maybe not standing up to the heat very well, and possibly interfereing with electrical grounds/connections?  Those would be my biggest concerns.  Why would you consider it?  What are the pros?  Help me see what im missing?

It's actually NOT ugly, it's very clean...A guy with an F100 with a 292 has done it on his, and it looks SOOOOOO clean.

Just my opinion on being ugly.  Personally, I prefer OE style paint & cleaned up, but thats just me.  I have seen an entire car (mid 40's dodge) sprayed with rhino lining and tinted/painted orange.  I wouldnt do it, but it looked kind of cool....and different.

Aside from the appearance part (only you can decide on that front) I would want to make sure everything would ground properly, and wherever assemblies bolt up, would want to make sure that the alignment wouldnt be effected by the thickness of the liner.  Does that make sense?
