Uncleaud, I believe you posted the question about how many little Birds are left. I emailed my friend, Dave Tulowitzky, in Florida. He has been keeping a register of Birds for several years. So far he has documented 14,500 cars, drivers, projects, parts cars, show cars. He estimates there are about 30,000 still in existence. By the way, if anyone here has a Bird that Dave doesn't know about, he would love to have the information from the body tag. He is finding a lot of information about runs of consecutive Birds, paint colors, interiors, etc. It gives him some history of how the assembly lines ran back in the day.

John- There's also a fella named John Rotella who's been doing the same thing for several years now, as well. I don't know him personally, but I've had email correspondence with him- a very nice guy. His site is The Thunderbird Registry. You can register your car and post a few pics of it, as well- (Mine's registered there and there's also a few pics of my folks w/ the car way back when)... Duck

I've tried to register mine on the t-Bird registry but every time I try It tells me that they aren't taking any more registrations at this time. Not sure what thats all about. I would be glad to contact the fellow in Florida with the info on mine. I found it in a garage where it had been hiding for thirty years and I'm slowly bringing it back to life. My e-mail is apierce@ispmgt.com if he wants to contact me. Thanks

I've also decided to call the plater from Ada,MI., and if he'll be attending, I will be taking my bumpers to the Midland meet over the Memorial Day weekend for an evaluation from him- Thanks for passing along his contact info to me... John: Are you and Dave in Fl in contact with each other? Each of you probably has info that the other doesn't.
