yea its got about 130000 miles, the old pump made 35 cold 4ish hot and nothing in drive stopped and cruising about 15ish

Jason; That's a wide swing on pressure.. what was the old pumps readings? Is the engine a high mileage one?

hey everyone i got my new oil pump on!!!!!!!! it was quite ummm fun hahahah anyway the car now makes 55psi when cold (10w40 oil) and when hot at idle it makes 10psi and in drive stopped makes about 7psi at 55mph i get around 25ish is that okay pressure? i have a mechanical gauge on it,

also i'm having issues with it starting you have to hold the shifter up into park to get it to turn over i think its the saftey switch can it be adjusted if so how would i go about doing that ? my galaxie has it under the hood on the firewall/steering/shifter tube thing haha
