Some friends of mine asked me to park my 57 in front of the restaurant where their Class of 57 was having a reunion, and celebration of the 75th anniversary of their high school. A lot of people had their picture taken in front of the car. Lot's of comments, like I used to have one like that. I changed to 15" wheels and tried 65 Ford LTD spinner wheel covers. I had the wheels painted red and the LTD spinners have a red circle in them too. I think a lot of people on this site will think that Ford was the "Class of 57".

Paul:

That must have been a group of OLD people.  I can say that, since i'm so much younger.  I graduated in '58.

John,

There was a lot of gray hair in the group...but I was also in the class of 57, different school, so I can't say too much. After I graduated, I bought a new 57 Ford Convertible. It was a great era to grow up in and live through, I wouldn't trade it for any other time, if a person could do that :-)

I graduated from high school in 1962 and drove a 1950 GMC to school from when I was 14 and got my license when I was 16. I fell in love with 56 Fords when they hit the showroom. Finally in 1964 when I was a sophomore in college I found one cheap enough to afford. I sold the original one in 1981. The title and the frame was about the only thing original. I now have 3 56 Fords and all the parts to build a 4th one

Mine was in 61, should have been 60 also, but I was much too smart to go to school (skool)  one year.
