Does this provide any help at least in prevention of build up?

Howdy,

Looks like you got a double post! w00t

Just using and changing any modern oil will prevent "build up"

"Build-up" is really a thing of the past with todays oils and the frequency that we all change it....

Cheers,

Rick

Red Stake:

Since that slot is not the smallest passage in the oil path, enlarging and smoothing it will not really help the flow.  But if it eases your mind, go ahead and do it.  Won't hurt anything.

Some y block articles in the past reccomended smoothing with a grinder & chamfering the actual hole a bit. Does this provide any help at least in prevention of build up?
