Hey John, I would also like to welcome you to the site. Like Charlie Burns said, you've helped a lot of us with excellent parts and great advice. The 312 I built a few years ago is running fine with your valve springs, Blue Thunder intake, ARP rod bolts, etc. Looking forward to your comments on various questions. Nick Brann, K.C., MO

Welcome, John. Now we have another expert to correct me when I make a false statement. Pegleg, what did you do to get your post on at 3:12? Just sit there until 312 and hit the "post" button? I very cleverly waited until 5:12 pm eastern and totally forgot the two hour difference!

Thanks again to all of you for the warm welcome. Charley, are you headed to Bonneville this year? If so, good luck.

Welcome, John Mummert. I have referenced your web site for the vast knowledge you impart, for the benefit of all Y-Block restorers. Periodically, I find myself re-visiting your site 'just to make sure' before I buy used parts or retrofit OEM. Great site, John. Thanks again for sharing your vast experiences, references, and Y-Block resources. - Dave Dare

John I am so glad you got on the site. Next trip down to San Diego I'll have to look you up. Been down there a LOT just never take the time to go "east" of San Diego a bit!

Hi John, Welcome, And thanks for the effort in getting my hot rod in a box kit down to New Zealand, I often wondered what a Y Guru like yourself has for a project or driver??? What are your Y blocks in???
