I have talked with godaddy on the phone, they don't see any issues but I told them that they most likely wouldn't see a problem except for the times that the problem exists. It appears to me that the servers are being hit with DOS (denial of service) attacks which so floods the server with connect requests that it basically becomes paralyzed.

The tech support tells me that he isn't aware of any of these attacks. I am thinking that I will just have to try to catch it acting up and call them when it is doing it so that they can actually see what many of you and I am seeing.

Sometimes having a site becomes a real headache!

Same problem here....just a different twist. I can view the site without logging in and 99% of the time no trouble. But when I'm logged on and try to go from post to post or "back" to the main topics , I get the" server not responding" message quite often.....can't even log out. I have to open a new page and not log in to check out the latest posts.Still the best site on the web!!!   Barry

Happens to me all the time. I just keep trying and it works on the forth or fifth try.  Just think if our cars and trucks ran like our computers.  Tongue

Happens to me as well, if I leave the site and come back a hour or so later it's usually O.K. My theory is as the site becomes more popular with more members and guests at certain times of the day it becomes overloaded. On the other hand I could be talking a load of doggy do-do and it's something completely different!!Tongue

Sometimes the site just goes out while I'm on. Like last night, I was replying to a posting and suddenly the site went down. Everything else (other sites) worked fine. I use Firefox.

Happening to me too. Mac/Safari browser working fine for other sites, but the forum sometimes drops out temporarily.

I have had that problem also couple of months now. I am using Firefox. It could happen any time a day and last almost an hour.
