I have never seen the adapter you are looking forparts. If I were in your situation, I would buy buy the transmission you want and sell the Chev transmission. If your transmission is in good shape, it should fetch a pretty good price. I have made adapters to use T89 Ford od with the long input shaft in GM by using 1/2" flat. I bolted the flat to the clutch housing with countersunk bolts in oversize holes. I then dialed in the hole for the input shaft cover because this is what the transmission actually centers itself and then put Cummins Diesel dowel pins to keep if from moving around. I started out by taking the input shaft cover to a machine shop and having the hole bored because I had no way of boring a hole that big. Your adapter could probably be built too, but I don't think it's worth it.

The T-5 adapter won't work on the Saggy. If anybody has an adapter it would be Transdapt or Wilcap. Now that I think of it, I have seen this done. Y-Block to 48 Ford adapter with 48 Ford to GM adapter bolted to the back. I can post pic if you want.
