hey guys so im putting in the oil pressure guage and a switch for the warning light so the guy who had the truck b4 me tore everything thing out and put a bolt to plug up were the pressure switch is suppose to go so i have to start from nothing any one know were i can find the wiring diagram for the oil pressure switch or know how to run the wiring any help would be great thanx guys

Wire comes from ignition switch connection C goes to oil pressure light. Wire from light to oil pressure indicator on engine. Which is also the ground for the circuit. Another wire also comes off ignition switch at same point is the charge indicator light. This wire then goes to "A" connection on regulator then  to generator.

oil wire is white with red band,  gen wire is yellow with black band. Wiring diagrams are available just about everywhere for sale on the web. If you are going to do a lot of work on the wires it may be advantageous to buy one.

ok is there a way i can connect the new after market oil pressure gauge to a hole on the block and connect the pressure switch to another hole on the block and if so were would i find these holes

you can put  a fitting that accepts two senders  into the existing hole and run a mechanical and electrical unit  from one point

im tring to avoid putting a "T" on there but if thats the only way then ill do it

I just went through all this. I used the front port for my oil pressure gauge and rear,just behind the filter for the warning light switch. The original oil pressure switch was 1/4 inch

pipe and the gauge was 1/8 inch pipe,so just use an adapter. I had originally used a "tee"

but It's to cramped to get at everything. The only hard part was removing the pipe plug,I don't think it had ever been out in 52 years.
