Almost Panic , I have had the same problem a few times over the years, i found that by rockin the car while in gear they would break loose .I reckon the answer is not to let them sit to long !!..By the way i have the sister car to yours , but is automatic !.........Sam

How 'bout puttin' a pic on here of yours. Yeah, but in the summer I just don't get out. Was going to go to Sonic tonight but I was changin' a negative battery cable on a PT Cruiser.. Geeeze, that + oil change turned into an all day ordeal so I just don't feel like gettin' the old Vicky all cleaned up, besides by the time I would have got there there wouldn't be a parkin' place .. Next month for sure though and then Turkey Rod Run in Nov ... can't wait for that ..

Been dry here for sure.  Point was to drive em more often.  I thought I was doing my Vicky an injustice just driving her once or twice a week during the 100* days.

You gotta have the right tools and know how to use 'em.

He must not be in a dry climate like we have had in central Texas the last few years. However, back when it still rained around here, I have had truck clutches rust to the flywheel and floater plate to the point that we had to pull the transmission after 6 months of being out of service.

Well almost had a panic situation today. I hadn't ran my '56 in a couple of months so I got in to crank it and the clutch was stuck to the flywheel. I tried and tried to get it undone and finally I put the battery charger on it and charged it up real good and hit the key. Pow ! and it came loose ... whew ..!!
