Thank you. Will different year trunk lids fit the hinges but they could be slightly different in the back causing it not to fit right?

That's what I think too, right trunk but things just aren't linin' up. Could be the hole or the lid or both .. Should be able to be fixed somehow though .. a good metal guy could have it in no time ...

My 1955 ford was hit in the back before I got it and the person who helped me fix it did not do a good job. I am not sure if I have the right trunk lid on there or not. The car was hit on the left rear and he welded another pannel that fits under the trunk lid and the trunk lid was replaced when I got the car.
