A friend is helping me paint my car after we do some body work and I can't figure out how to remove the Customline Emblim. I looked behind it and I can't see any nuts on it thanks

usualy a flat head screw driver or blade will help it pop out its held on like by pressure from the inside so it slips out and slips right in

On a lot of the emblems of the 50's cars, Ford used a push on nut - I believe it was called a barrel nut.

I will try with a screwdriver I hope it does not crack. I will go easy a little on each side hope that works.

Yes tim, the script is held on by bullet/ barrel clips that are pushed into fender then small part of it springs out a little to hold the clip in, then the script mounting pins are just pushed into these clips, carefull and patient easing with screw driver under the pin area of the script will see it ease out of the clips! Goodluck! regards aussiebill.
