It must be experimental as he says.  My 260 intake does not have the vacuum port between the carbs nor the cast depressions on the top of the carb flanges.  Mine has casting #EDB-9424-C.  Wait until the buyer finds how rare and expensive the correct '56 dual carbs are.

A couple days back an e-code dual quad set-up sold for $550.00 on e-bay and there's

another on now with the air cleaner for a tenth the price, although they aren't Nascar

pieces they would look pretty nice sitting on my 57 Custom.
