Got some pictures from Gord on his new air clean and valve covers.  Looks like he was finally able to reproduce the T-bird logo on both.  Said aluminum heards are next on his list.  Bing

Straight form the man himself.  Bing

We manufacture the T-Bird Air Filter in 5 versions. Here is a list of the versions and the associated cost:

Single 4 Barrel (’57 and newer Holley carb – large bolt pattern) - $250

Single 4 Barrel (’55 and ’56 Holley carb [teapot] – small bolt pattern) - $300

Tri-Power - $330

Dual 4 Barrel carbs (Edelbrock and Carter AFB carbs) - $330

Dual 4 Barrel carbs (Holley teapot – small bolt pattern) - $380

The T-Bird air filters are available in “as cast” and polished finish…there is a $100 adder for the polished top.

CKiller, you are correct the carb spacing even on the 3x2's are different from mfg to mfg and yes I am some what of a go between.

Paul, Gord is a guy from north of the boarder (Canada) who makes a super charger for the Y as well as the parts in this thread.  If you look on Epay every now and then he lists a super charge to sell.  He wrote a couple articles a few years back for the Y Block Magazine.  I have mentioned the site to him several times but for some reason he has not joined.  Bing

Isn't that the Gord that was banned from advertising in YBM several years ago?

There are versions of the air filter available that fits the Holley "teapot" carbs...both for single and dual 4 barrel intakes. The filter element is 4" tall to accomodate the extra height of the teapot.

You are correct...there is a slight difference in the carb to carb spacing between the Edelbrock and Offy intakes. When ordering the air filter for the tri-power setup, you have to specify which intake you are using.
