I have the column tube out of my '55 Ford Customline and need insight in getting the old upper bearing out of the tube. The bearing sleeve popped right out. Is the bearing pressed into tube? I looked in Concours parts catalog and they list bearing #21-A-3517 for 54/59 cars. In the National Parts Depot Catalog they list T-3517-1 for the 55/57 T-Bird Column....is this the same bearing? We have a NPD in our town and an easy pickup item.

Please give me hints about removing the bearing from the column tube. Thanks~~~~~~~~~Ron

Cool Still Livin In The 50's!!!  '55 Tudor Customline with a 312ci Merc/4-Speed/Granada Rear.
