Are the rods and main caps numbered?

If it is still stock with no replacement parts and "fooling around" over the years, then your rods should be marked, but your main caps will not be. I would HIGHLY suggest marking your main caps for position and orientation.

I just started disassembling my 292 still in the car.Got the top end all off so just the block is left to pull out.Are the main caps and rods already numbered from the factory or do I need to find a way to identify them as I pull the block apart?
