best specs i've come up with for radial tires on a non power steering vehicle;camber 1/4 degree both sides;caster 1/2 degree positive left,1 degree positive right;toe 0 to 1/16 toe in.i've been doing align work for 40 years and found this to work out best for controlability and prolong tire wear.jim

Thats true about the radial tires. Later model Crown Vics we set up w/positive toe. Comes down to personal preference I guess. I want a little "scrub" going down the road to help it go straight and handle like I want. Set up my 57 Ford with it toed in 1/8. My information came from an "oldtime" frontend man.

The specs are usually a little different for modern radial tires.You need to look around and find an "oldtime" front end guy.Someone who will know how to set it up for better driveability.

It seems that I read that you have zero toe in for radials.

Factory specs for toe in were with Bias ply tires. I thought I read some where that some adjustment from original specs is recommended for Radials. Yes, no?

Even though its lowered you need to maintain factory specs. Camber +0.75 Caster +1.00 Total toe 0.12

I'm ready to have my front end aligned and would like to know what others used for specs on theirs. I don't have power steering and my front end has been lowered 1 1/2".
