My 292 is leacking oil on a strange place. It's on the back of the head, on that screw hole next to the wather freeze plug. On the driver side of the engine there is a screw on the same spot, holding a ground wire, and there is not leacking, of course. is all the problem a missing screw? Or can be something more problematic? The engine is running perfect.

Yes - just put a bolt in the hole. The other side has the same thing.

Thanks, I was getting really worried. The engine was just rebuild, and I thought the guy forgot the bolt.

Whoa, don't put too long of a screw/bolt in there, you could bend a push rod. Put a short bolt in the hole, maybe 1/4-3/8" long? You just need to plug the hole. Put some sealant on it also...

What I'm doing now, is cutting a spare bolt to the same lenght the bolt on the other head. The bolt has about 1/2' of tread.
