Valve covers look just like mine, and I'm pretty sure the guy was talking 312, been a long time ago.

Still a fine looking coupe! I'd forgotten fastening the front fenders at the spindle nut! Neat. Chuck in NH

aussiebill (12/15/2009) How about OLDS?I thought Olds at first too, it would have the two nuts holding the valve cover, but look at the center exhaust I think it looks like two "humps" kinda like a Pontiac. And yes I still think it is a fine looking coupe, anything but a scrub motor is OK by me. There was a guy that lived around the corner from me when I was a little guy and he had a very nice Model B with an Olds Rocket with six twos, I think it was his Highschool car. That was 30+ years ago wonder what happened to it.
