I was crusin on eBay and came across a nice 57 Ford 4 door and the wierd thought of it being an "F" code vehicle entered my head.

So I figured I would ask if there really were any  "E" or "F" code 4 door cars manufactured and if any are still around.I think theres a wagon or two that were built  but what about 4 door cars?

I figured that they could be special ordered-but were any really built?

Al:

Interesting question.  Couriers were sold as trucks, and trucks were not supposed to be available with a 312 even.  But then, Rancheros were also marketed as trucks, yet somewhere I have a picture of an F Ranchero.

For NHRA use, you should have been able to get a Courier with an F code, a four speed hydro, and slicks. Oh, no wait, that's only for Scrubs. Ermm

My brother Dave and I ran a 55 N stocker at Pittsburgh International Dragway and aways seemed to be challange by a 55 scrub delivery.. running a 4 speed hydro, Bucket seats, caught by us with a holley carb, then they came back with a fuel injection.. Tech did not see a problem..

Brother and I own/operate 1957 Ford Fairlane 312/4x2 and two 1963 Falcons 302 rollers carburated 600cfm, FE427 sitting in shed..
