Anyone from the northern IL area?  Wondering if there are any 50's ford and/or y-block clubs out there and any cool events going on this spring/summer?  I've read about the EXPO out in Columbus, anyone ever go to union grove?  I drove the car out to woodward in detriot last year, so I'm game within a 6 hour drive.  Looking forward to a great driving season.

Where are you located?  I'm near Rockford.  There are a few Y Block guys around and you will find some Y cars at local cruise nights.

Lake Forest - about 2 hours straight east, Route 176 all the way .  I'm a member of AACA and involved in local shows and tours, but there aren't many "performance" guys.  Plus I'm 24, and most of the members are in there 70's (no offense to anyone in their 70s) and feel it isn't an antique unless it was built before the 40's if you know what I mean.
