hehehe...this car was red when I started. Yeah, this is the original color of my car, Viking Blue. I wanted to add a middle strip of white to it to make it seem like a 50's car. The paint has a spot of rust every couple of inches or so, so I have to repaint it anyway. I tried adding white to the roof (more authentic to the 50's rods I've seen) but it didn't look quite right.

Had one of those cars  back in 1971. Painted it silver as you have this one and Red. Just partial to Red cars. Like the colors you have selected.

I'm assuming just about everyone in this forum (except for me) has 50s cars...so, with that in mind, check out his concept pic for the paint scheme my 63 Fairlane will have.

You should note, as any close inspection will reveal, this is not a real picture but a photoshop-job of a different '63 fairlane I found online. I'd use a picture of my car, but it's got all of the body panels off and it's snowed into my garage.
