We've got a lot of snow right now and I guess I have nothing better to do...Tongue Here is a shot of me at 16 with my 55 Club in my parents driveway...I was a few pounds lighter back then.

that's me in the shorts and my son Daniel in the jeans; the car is now pretty much together now, with the exception of upholstery, headliner and door panels.  Couldn't have asked for a better "side kick" than Daniel; he's 14 and dying for his first car... 50's Ford, of course!

Gotta love that Swedish engineering.

My father got '89 Volvo 240.

Accelerates like my Nissan Micra and spend fuel like my charged Thunderbird.

This is my dream enabler and wife, Corene...........She was the only pit crew during my rookie run at Bonneville in 2007.  I don't speak quilting and she don't speak Y-Block, but we support each others hobbies.

Here's my Corinne...I don't speak horses, and she doesn't speak hot rods, but we find things to chat about...w00t

It's all a lot more fun with someone around to share it with...and she's coming around a little bit more since the T-Bird arrivedBigGrin

And, perhaps the coolest birthday cake I could have imagined from my wifey...a sugary interpretation of my '60 F-100 (in it's original colors, no less!)

Yeah, it's rough being me sometimes...
