Are you talking about legal as far as titling the vehicle? If so, there is no mention of the color code on the title, so you can change the color code to whatever you want to. If you are asking about showing the car for points, it would probably be better to have the color code on the id plate match the color you actually have.

I'm getting a new patent plate made and the car color and interior is not the original color, is it

legal to change the car color code and the interior color as well on the mew patent plate?
