Close but no cigar, the I6 bell housing has the two top bolts closer together than they are for the Y block for one thing. They looks a lot alike but there may be other differences also.

Guys, could anyone tell me if the 55 56 I6 cylinder customline engine bellhousing is same as 272 V8 bellhousing? thank you, bill.
