Congratulations and thanks Jim for seven great years! For everyone who belongs to this site, take a bow. The contributions and discussions over the years have made the "Y" better than ever.

It isn't the "little" Aussie that has me concerned! It that guy with the Y-Blocksforever Tat on his arm! He is one to watch.

Jim,
Thanks very much for getting this site up and going. It is an amazing treasure of Yblock racers/builders/learners, information and conversation. I was at the old site for years before it languished and became vulnerable to the flames. Very grateful and glad to find my way here recently.

All of us is what makes this thing work. I've only had to ban three people in seven years, that has to be some sort of record among forums. Just check some of the other forums, they have to keep a fire department on retainer for all of the flame wars!!! The fact that we just don't have those is a testament to the class of people that love the Y. I have provided the hangout, but without our sages (ones mentioned in previous posts and more), this would be nothing. I have been truly blessed over this last seven years to have added many names to those people that I can truly call my friends. A special thanks to Ted (Doc) Eaton for putting up with me coming down and asking more questions than a two year old every time! I am SO lucky to only live a bit over an hour from Ted.
Got an e-mail this morning that Australia is to be represented at the shootout this year, and I will bring the 56 if we get aluminum heads in time to get the motor together. After missing last year, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing many of you again!
