I noticed you have a 57 bird black, do you have black and white trim inside? I just bought a complete upholstery set from larrys t bird, and the white pleates really do not look white, more like off white, my question is, do you have the same shade of white? it seems to be different then any other white on their seat covers, I asked them about this, and they told me that is the correct color for the 57 with black and white seats. I am also looking for the bottom half of a 57 bird air cleaner.the repos are very expensive.

Sorry....re-read the Ebay description and realized it isn't a repro but a new design. Looks very cool though. I wonder if the 3x2 application is in the works or finished? I am still searching for a set of those Edelbrock valve covers Todd has been looking for. I know some of those suckers are going show up somewhere.

I appreciate you keeping your eye out Mark! I thought you might like this air cleaner set-up as well, from vintagespeed.com. Clearance might be an issue in a Bird, which is why I'm considering some spun velocity stacks from Seller's Equipped as well. For now, until I find my unicorn (the valve covers), chrome mushroom air cleaners and chrome valve covers will have to do...

I bought one not too long ago... pretty rough, even after paying for polishing... could still be a conversation piece due to uniquemess and custom-craft nature.

However, its height is an issue on my 57 tbird with a carb spacer on the B manifold and an Autolite 4 barrel, maybe an inch or so.

Am having the horn lip trimed 1/2" , with clearance holes for the screws in the top of the carb, and the decorative top milled as much as possible to recess the filter element abit.

Maybe I can post pics when done.

Anybody seen this before? Is it bogus or a real Ford part?
