fired up my ranchero, tightend dist. cap on the mustang and added some coolant.

ran to home depot for some stupid stuff (nobody there!)

then pounded out four more pistons from my frozen flathead block.

I spent superbowl Sunday pulling the engine and transmission from a 56 Ford while listening to oldies radio. That was a lot more fun than watching any football game(or anything else on TV).

Maybe someday I watch Superbowl and look what super is in it.

Its hard to watch football when you must remember all those rules.

ditto on the snow. We got 33" over the weekend, and now they are calling for 5+ tomorrow morning into Wednesday! I would like to speak with Al Gore - this is all his fault...Tongue...after he led the charge on all of the global warming bunk, I think God just sort of laughed and said, oh yeah?, watch this...funny how Washington DC has been nailed with snow pretty good this winter.

As far as the superbowl is concerned, I did watch a little bit of the football game and NOT the pre-game hype, nor the half-time show with the Who (what are they now running around in wheel chairs now?). Tongue

I spent the afternoon reorganizing the work area so I could get the 62 out of the dirt and onto the concrete part of the barn with the other two pickups.

In the process needed to start and reposition the 46.  First start since Oct.  Had a hell of a time getting the elect. pump to prime after dumping all the gas in the fall.  In the process realized my Pulmonary Capacity is not real good, but good enough for now.  After putting in 10 gallons of gas to the fuel cell, with pump running sealed the gas inlet with mouth and blewwww.  Finally worked.  Plan now to replace the pump with its Carter predecessor.

Earlier in the day picked up a new set of speakers off of Craigs List.  Will be putting a relatively nice (for a barn) stereo system in soon.

It beats watching football!!!
