Got my ground wire and temperature gauge installed. The 2 anchor bolts on the bell crank were not stock and one is stripped. Both appear to be 5/16" bolts. The one on the left (driver's side) is 3/4" long and the one on the right (passenger side) is 1/2" long and is stripped. The left bolt hole is deeper (about 3/4" deep) than the bolt hole on the right which is about 1/2" deep or less. Am I correct to assume that the right bolt hole has a broken bolt in it? What are the correct size bolts for the bell crank especially the thread number - #18 I think is for course thread and 24 is for fine thread? I really need to know the correct thread number.

Thanks

The correct bolt size for the hold down bolts to which you refer are listed as 5/16”-18 X ¾”.  They use lockwashers.
